- Why did Axle Payments rebrand?
This rebrand represents the next exciting stage in our growth.
While Axle Payments made sense given where we started, it fails to capture our broader ambitions. We wanted a name that would differentiate us from the rest of the freight-tech industry and symbolize the transformation we hope to bring to logistics.
As we have significantly expanded our team and our offering, we felt a rebrand would allow us to most effectively support our product and customer experience in differentiating ourselves in the freight tech industry.
- Why Denim?
We are called Denim because our vision is to become the everyday fabric of the global freight economy. Our new name celebrates everything we want to be for our clients: a trustworthy, easy-to-use partner. We are reliable, essential, and universal. Similar to how denim revolutionized the way people work and dress, we are on a mission to advance the supply chain by accelerating the movement of money and data to enable the flow of goods around the world.
- Is Denim a new company?
No. Denim, formerly known as Axle Payments, has been around since 2019. We have helped thousands of businesses move money and freight. We are the same company our clients know and love, just with a new name and logo for the next phase of our growth.
For Denim Clients
- How does this impact my business?
You will still have the exact same service, features, and support from our team as you had before. We are the same company you’ve been working with; we just have a new name, logo, and colors.
The only change to your day-to-day is where you log in to your platform. You will now log into your dashboard at Denim.com instead of axlepayments.com. Keep calm and keep booking loads!
- What happens if I send an email to an old @axlepayments.com email address?
It will forward to the new Denim emails, but please update your address book.
- What do you need me to do as a Denim client? How does this impact my contract?
You will be receiving communication from us to re-sign our NOA with our new name. The NOA will be sent via HelloSign, so please be on the lookout. The NOA is the same, it just has the new name.
If you want to help us, please reach out to your customers and let them know that we have now legally changed our name to Busbot dba Denim and that they will want to update their system to reflect that when they send us the payments. Your shipper will not need to change our address or banking details.
You will want to notify your contractors that they will now receive payments from Denim instead of Axle Payments.
If you are using our company logo on your website, please be sure to update it with the new logo. Feel free to email us for a copy, as we would be happy to share our new assets with you.
- How will this impact my customers’ billing?
If we send billing on your behalf, the new invoices will be updated to say Denim and the email addresses they are sent from will also show Denim. You can help us by letting your customers know that this is happening.
- Do I need to notify my CPA or change anything for my taxes?
While it’s always a good idea to keep your CPA informed, there will be minimal impact here because we only changed our DBA, not our legal business name.
- Where do I log in to my Axle Payments account?
https://app.denim.com/dashboard/login. The login button will also still be accessible from the denim.com homepage
- Is my Denim account also my Axle account?
Yes
- Will this rebrand impact my TMS or QuickBooks integrations?
No, this rebrand won’t impact your current integrations. Even better, as a thank you to all of our loyal clients who have made this growth happen, we are now offering our TMS and QuickBooks integrations for free to all customers, new and existing!
- What should I tell my shippers, factoring companies, and/or carriers?
We are the same company and have simply changed our dba. Your shipper will not need to change our address or banking details. Please update our name in their system to Denim. Invoicing, notices of assignment, and emails will all be coming from Denim.
- As a debtor, where should we send payments?
Please send all payments to the same place, but update the name on the payment to Busbot dba Denim. There is no change in our banking details or PO Box.
- Does this impact my credit reporting?
No
- Do I have to sign a new contract?
You only need to sign the updated NOA that we’ve emailed to you with our new name. No new contract is necessary.
- Is my login the same?
Yes, your login credentials will remain the same.
- What is the new website?
